Brazil 3 - 2 USA: Samba Kings pulls off great comeback to win the Confederations Cup

Defending Confederations Cup Champions have successfully defended their crown in the most spectacular of ways after coming back from 2 goals down at the break to beat a spirited USA 3-2 at Ellis Park on Sunday evening.

Bob Bradley's USA raced to a shock 2 goal lead at the break after the opening goal from Fulham midfielder Clint Dempsey, and a great counter attacking move finished off with aplomb by Landon Donovan.

Another upset looked like being on the cards but Brazil pulled off a great comeback to deny the Americans their first FIFA senior Tournament win. Luis Fabiano started the fightback with Brazil's first goal 40 seconds after the re-start and the Sevilla striker doubled their lead after Robinho's shot hit the crossbar.
Lucio completed the fight back with the winning goal in the 84th minute with a powerful header from Elano's corner.

It's been a great Tournament, a true Festival of Champions with some amazing games over the three weeks. South Africa have shown the world that we will be ready for next year's 2010 Fifa World Cup....
